Notice is hereby given for the Consolidated Election on April 4, 2023 for local elected officials for the Village of Channahon. Petitions and election materials will be available for circulation on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at the Village of Channahon, 24555 S. Navajo Drive, Channahon, IL 60410, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Positions up for election are Village President, Village Clerk and three (3) Village Trustee, all positions are four (4) year terms.

Petitions must be received no earlier than Monday, December 12, 2022 and no later than Monday, December 19, 2022. Position on the ballot is determined by time and receipt of petitions. Should more than one petition be filed at the same time, by mail or in person, on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. or any other time, a lottery to determine ballot order will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the Village of Channahon.
