VOTES
- Approved: 2026 Designated Meeting Dates and Times
- The Board of Trustees voted to approve meeting dates and times for Committee of the Whole meetings, Board meetings, Planning & Zoning Commission meetings, Arts & Culture Commission meetings, and Tree Board meetings for 2026.
- Approved: 2026 Holiday Schedule
- The Board approved the official holiday observances for the 2026 calendar year for Village of Channahon staff.
- Approved: A Resolution Making a Claim on an Improvements Completion Bond
- The Village Board approved a resolution to make a claim of $120,000 on GDP Homes' improvements completion bond for public improvements in Town Center Unit 4. The resolution requires that the bond company either complete the improvements or compensate the Village for completing them.
- Approved: Award 2025 Sanitary Manhole Rehabilitation Project
- On August 11, 2025, the Village of Channahon opened bids for its sanitary manhole rehabilitation project, with Structured Solutions, LLC submitting the low bid of $304, 365, which is within budget. The project will repair manholes identified as deficient during smoke testing to eliminate storm water infiltration and reduce wastewater treatment costs.
