Development Projects

Each proposed development is subject to Village of Channahon staff review, Planning & Zoning Commission approval, and consideration by the Village Board. To view an interactive map of potential, approved, and completed development projects in the Village of Channahon, please click here (link). 

Potential Project

The Village has received professional fee agreements for these projects, which allows the Village to have its staff and consultants review the project for consistency with Village planning documents and subdivision ordinances prior to it being considered for recommendation by the Planning & Zoning Commission and approval by the Village Board of Trustees. Some of these projects may never advance forward to the point of consideration if they are unable to meet necessary requirements.

Approved Project

Approved projects have received approval to proceed with construction from both the Planning & Zoning Commission and the Village Board of Trustees. 

Completed Project

These projects have recently completed construction and are either ready to open or will be opening soon.
