Grundy County Chamber of Commerce

What started as the Greater Channahon Area Chamber in the mid-90’s grew to incorporate the Minooka area by the early 2000’s and became the Greater Channahon-Minooka Area Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber was organized to advance the general welfare and prosperity of its citizens and businesses. It was involved in presenting informative seminars, supporting community events, providing networking opportunities for local businesses, and keeping updated with issues important to the Villages.

In late 2010 the Chamber membership decided seek efficiencies by joining with the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce and Industry and therefore dissolved the Greater Channahon Minooka Area Chamber of Commerce. Through this expansion, the Chamber hopes to minimize its operating expenses while expanding its programs and services. Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce & Industry

As the Village of Channahon occupies the space between two county seats, Joliet and Morris, some businesses may focus their activities in one direction or the other.  For that reason, the Village of Channahon is also a supporter of the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce & Industry.  More information may be found at the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce & Industry website.
